Realta Technologies is working with a major Pharmaceutical client to implement an Automation Engineer with Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal experience to support the site-wide Historian roll out.
The successful candidate will be responsible for automation connectivity during a site-wide historian roll out project in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the entire life cycle of automation projects, from concept to feasibility, design, test, and production.
* Develop and deploy automation projects at client sites.
* Define and create automation requirements and specifications.
* Update PLC system IP addresses and troubleshoot connection issues.
* Connect machines to networks for Historian and other data logging purposes.
* Conduct equipment control system connectivity assessments.
* Manage automation suppliers through all project phases.
* Draft qualification protocols and support equipment qualification activities.
* Ensure compliance with client procedures, cGMP, recognized quality standards, and regulatory expectations.
* Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
* Develop, debug, and validate Control System software programs.
* Analyze, understand, fault-find, and modify automation software.
Requirements:
* 2-5 years of overall industrial experience.
* Experience in manufacturing, automation, and IT systems.
* Strong background in Siemens S7 PLCs.
* Ability to work in validated environments with strong discipline regarding change management.
* Good organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, as well as good oral and written communication skills.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
* Experience with Siemens Step 7 Simatic Manager and TIA Portal.
