We are seeking a Junior Buyer/Planner to join our IRE operations team. The role focuses on inventory planning, order management, and coordination with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan inventory levels by analyzing consumption data and collecting input from stakeholders.
2. Monitor inventory levels and manage supplier and logistics processes.
3. Communicate daily with customers and suppliers to resolve operational issues.
4. Align forecasts and inventory levels with customer and supplier expectations.
5. Analyze consumption trends and update inventory levels in the customer’s BOM.
6. Ensure on-time delivery and adhere to return SLAs.
7. Coordinate returns and manage associated processes.
8. Review HRZB items, take action, and escalate issues when needed.
9. Schedule and lead BOM review meetings.
10. Place purchase orders and/or manage system-generated orders to meet inventory needs.
11. Handle goods receipt (GR) and resolve discrepancies.
12. Resolve any issues from PO placement through to delivery or warehouse handling.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
2. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Team player with excellent customer service skills.
5. Experience in inventory planning or supply chain operations.
6. Familiarity with KPI-driven work environments.
Education:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Further education or certifications in supply chain or related fields are a plus.
