Solution Architect Day Rate Contract (12 to 36 months) Based with our client in North Dublin Hybrid (min of 2 days a week onsite) Mandatory Requirements 5+ years of substantial professional experience in your specialised field.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field.
AWS related training or certification.
Experience, Competencies & Skillsets: Minimum five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following (or similar) technical disciplines :Infrastructure and network design Application development Application programming interfaces (APIs) Middleware Servers and storage Database management and operations Clustering technologies Virtualization Cloud technologies Active Directory and protocols Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.
Understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability to support agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.
Strong ability to articulate technical processes / architecture into documents.
Demonstrated work experience with some of the following platforms, protocols, and technologies:Enterprise networking for LAN, WAN, WIFI Cisco LAN and WAN technologies Firewalling and Network security Microsoft CRM Experience HP/Dell/EMC Server and Storage technologies Azure/AWS Clouds Managed Hosting Knowledge SQL and NoSQL Databases API Management Platforms Microservices and DevOps application design Key Deliverables: Documenting the cloud infrastructure and the associated integrations with key systems.
Documenting the integration of all clients technology systems.
Input into the integration and design of cloud infrastructure with our clients Processing system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, external website and the online form and associated database solutions.
Work with Enterprise Architecture (EA) peers (e.g., enterprise, business, information, solutions and security architects) to analyse enterprise business context (business strategy and trends), as well as change requirements in other EA viewpoints (such as business, information and solution) to derive the future-state technology architecture.
Provide analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommend solutions for improvement.
Coach, mentor and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and EA peers to develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities and operating models as well as delivering knowledge transfer within the team.
