Job Title: Supply Chain Manager - County Cavan
Location: County Cavan, Republic of Ireland
Overview
The supply chain team is responsible for sourcing, planning, warehouse, and procurement. As a Supply Chain and Procurement Manager, you will oversee the entire supply chain operations, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery reliability.
* Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, procurement, transportation, and inventory control.
* Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance carrying costs with production requirements.
* Supplier & Vendor Management: Continuously assess supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
* Cost Optimization & Risk Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, supplier consolidation, and negotiations.
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead the procurement and supply chain team, providing mentorship and training. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g. CPSM, CPIM) is a plus. At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Manufacturing environment essential.
