The HR Generalist Role
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office and manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
What will you do:
1. Provide a generalist HR support service mainly on HR Administration, Recruitment & Induction, Learning & Development in UK and Ireland.
2. Champion and support best practice and delivery in recruitment, vetting, performance management, reward and recognition, personal development, resource planning, and change management.
3. Appropriately manage day-to-day HR administration ensuring service excellence and full legal compliance on Employee matters, e.g. employment certificates, social, pension and health fund reports, official statistics, and other official documentation.
4. Participate in or lead HR projects as required.
5. Provide support for employees who require advice on employment rights, changes to terms and conditions.
6. Continuously seek opportunities to develop, train and educate HR processes, policies and procedures to ensure the consistency, efficiency, and quality of Employee experiences.
7. Ongoing support and feedback with people managers on employee relations issues. Coaching of people managers.
What you will bring:
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Substantial and progressive experience in HR required with demonstrated required functional knowledge & expertise.
3. Experience working in a regional shared services organization is a plus.
4. Fluency in English.
5. Demonstrated experience of, and focus on, proactively managing customer relationships.
6. Must possess demonstrated understanding of continuous performance measurement.
7. A track record of identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement - keeping it simple.
8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in a complex, multi-supplier, and matrixed environment.
9. Curious; proactively ask questions about the wider context to understand where to provide the most business value.
10. Exceptional conflict resolution skills.
11. Comfortable with changes, with the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs.
12. Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, able to carry out root cause analysis.
