About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing medium-sized firm with offices in Meath, Cavan, and Dublin, is seeking an experienced audit professional to join their practice. This Audit and Business Advisory Partner Designate or Audit Director will be responsible for managing a substantial portfolio, driving growth, leading a well-established audit team, and ensuring clients are serviced to the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Management: Manage an allocated client portfolio, including full management of client relationships, meetings, work-in-progress (WIP), billing, and business development.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor audit staff, design and deliver training programs to enhance staff development, and support the onboarding and integration of new team members.
* Client Relationship Management: Lead the delivery of exceptional client service, strive to exceed client expectations, and work collaboratively across departments to optimize service delivery.
* Business Development & Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key intermediaries, represent the firm at networking events, and develop and expand a strong referral network to generate new opportunities.
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in audit, advisory, or accounting services.
* Proven track record of managing a client portfolio, preferably in a professional services firm.
* Strong leadership experience with a history of managing and developing audit teams.
* Experience in business development, client management, and strategic growth initiatives.
