Clients Accounts Administrator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clients Accounts Administrator to join our team on an 11-month fixed term contract basis.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Client Accounts Manager and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of account holders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, handling a high volume of queries and issues with confidentiality.
* Distribute prizemoney, process cash and journal receipts to accounts daily, and make payments to third-party invoices on behalf of clients via online banking.
* Assist the team in developing the Racing Administration System (RS) and update client account records and general account administration.
* Carry out credit control processes on overdue accounts and assist in quarterly output of Forfeit List.
* Liaise with industry-related bodies and undertake various reconciliations, including bank reconciliations as required.
* Conduct weekly audits of all journals and perform reconciliations for bank and holding accounts.
* Perform other duties and participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar client-facing role, preferably in contact centres, customer service, or accounts administration.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service/relationship building skills.
* Experience working in a busy office environment and managing deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
