Banking supervision therefore has the task of monitoring the business activities of credit institutions and maintaining investor confidence.
The employees of the audit units contribute to this by carrying out on-site audits at the institutions and their service providers.
Their business trips take them to destinations in Germany and abroad.
The auditors assess the functionality and appropriateness of IT risk management and the IT processes of the institutions and their service providers on the basis of supervisory regulations.
Work of particular value: your assignment with us As part of banking supervision, you take part in banking business audits of credit institutions and their (cloud) IT -service providers in Germany and abroad.
You assess the functioning and appropriateness of the IT -risk management and the IT -processes based on the supervisory regulations.
You are an expert in the team or Expert for information security ( e.g.
network security, cryptography, vulnerability management, penetration testing), application development ( e.g.
design, programming, build, test, deployment) and application and infrastructure operation.
Your tasks will include independently analyzing documents from the institutes and conducting interviews with their employees.
The results of the audits are summarized in audit reports in German or English.
You present the audit results internally and to the audited institutions.
