Role Senior Consultant – Business Risk Services Work location: Dublin

The Grant Thornton Business Risk Services (BRS) team is currently seeking a driven and self-motivated Senior Consultant, ideally with a professional services background.
This candidate should be comfortable in delivering across product lines, specifically Internal Audit and Risk Consulting and across client sectors.
The team delivers a variety of services to our clients' who are based across a wide range of sectors including:
Technology Energy Food & Beverages Manufacturing, Retail & Distribution Construction Our services include:
Internal Audit – Outsourced/ Co-sourced Third party assurance - SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 IT Risk & Assurance – ITGC, BCM, Cloud Candidates for this Senior Consultant role should be fully qualified with distinct and relevant experience of the best practice methodologies and standards underpinning internal audit and risk consulting delivery.
This role provides strong candidates with the opportunity to become a key member of the team and play a part in the continued and successful growth of the business unit whilst working closely with colleagues throughout the firm in a rapidly growing area of the business.

Main duties and responsibilities Providing internal audit, risk consulting advice to clients Preparing detailed reports outlining risk and internal audit findings and recommendations Execute audit procedures, including testing of controls and designs of different business functions Assisting management in strategic business development activities, including identifying client needs, opportunities and working on proposals for new business Working on client site and/ or remotely as part of client project teams Reporting to on-site and off-site Grant Thornton management Have excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with good initiative Good level of IT literacy with a track record of using the full MS Office suite Experience/ Qualifications Qualified accountant or part-qualified with significant relevant experience 3+ years' experience specifically in internal audit, risk in practice or industry If you think you are this person and you want a career that works for you with a professional services organisation that is going places, then apply today.
