MJF Interiors has been in existence since 1983 and is today the largest in the office interiors industry in Ireland. Structure: You will be a member of the Interiors Logistics team.
The Role: The ideal candidate will be in charge of the organisation and delivery of scheduling programs for both commercial and residential projects. From scheduling multiple supplier deliveries to communicating between departments, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner.
Main Responsibilities:
* Organizes quotes for freight and timing if the supplier does not handle delivery.
* Estimates customs charges and raises Purchase Orders (POR) for them.
* Informs suppliers to book delivery with approved freight companies once approved.
* Liaises with the Logistics Manager regarding cross-docking and trans-shipping requirements.
* Reorganises delivery dates if the site is not ready and informs clients about storage costs.
Delivery Coordination:
* Coordinates with Project Manager and Account Managers for deliveries directly to the site.
* Compiles delivery schedules for projects.
* Ensures delivery dates and locations are correctly identified and communicated.
* Updates delivery dates in the system when changes occur.
General Responsibilities:
* Participates in virtual site inspections for projects under €350k.
* Confirms all invoices related to freight and delivery are processed and approved.
* Monitors and updates delivery schedules and reports.
* Provides ad-hoc support for customer and supplier queries.
Minimum Requirements:
* A third level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Proven communication and relationship-building ability.
* Commitment to delivering high standards with a positive, can-do approach.
* Strong organisational, planning, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

* Flexible in approach to role and responsibilities and comfortable re-prioritizing when required.
* Effective at operating in a climate of change as the business develops.
* The ability to take initiative to research and discover information independently.
