We are hiring for an Events & Social Media Executive.

Responsibilities1.
Incoming Sales Ability:
Respond promptly to hotel enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Present and communicate detailed information about hotel services, packages, and event offerings.
Convert enquiries into bookings through professional and persuasive communication.2.
Meetings & Events Coordination:
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings and events, with a strong focus on weddings.
Provide operational support, including liaising with clients and suppliers, ensuring every detail is attended to.
Oversee event timelines and logistics, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.3.
Social Media Administration & Coordination:
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to plan and execute social media strategies.
Own and manage the hotel's social media accounts, posting regular content across chosen platforms.
Track and report on social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly.4.
Review Platform Management and Database HousekeepingUsing the hotel review platform, the successful candidate will respond to positive and negative reviews and compile information to disseminate to HOD's for constructive feedback.
Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Property Management System (PMS) with accurate contact information for companies and organizations.
Ensure database is current, organized, and fully functional for sales and event enquiries.
About The RoleRequirementsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when coordinating events.
Prior experience in meetings, events, and weddings is highly desirable.
Social media management experience and a creative flair for content creation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Office and Canva (Moposa and PMS experience is a plus).Previous experience in sales or customer service is a benefit.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
Additional Information:
This role may require occasional weekend and evening work depending on event schedules.
Training and support will be provided for specific software tools and systems.
