Manufacturing Engineer - Cork (Hybrid)
Our client is a thriving medical devices company based in Cork. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
About the Role
* Provide daily support for products, processes, materials, and equipment to achieve production goals.
* Develop and implement manufacturing business improvement projects and processes using state-of-the-art equipment.
Responsibilities
1. Analyse process, product, material or equipment specifications and performance requirements.
2. Summarise, analyse, and draw conclusions from test results leading to effective technical resolution.
3. Troubleshoot new products/process working closely with product development.
4. Contribute to NPI (New Product Introduction) development.
5. Perform root cause analysis using Lean tools and techniques.
6. Write and improve process procedures.
7. Conduct PCA (Process Change Analysis).
8. Execute IQ OQ PQ validation - processes and equipment.
Requirements
* NFQ Level 8 in a Technical Discipline (Science, Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.).
* Minimum 2-5 years experience working at an Engineering level, ideally in Medical Device, Pharma industry or other highly regulated environment.
* Project Management experience advantageous.
* Automated Manufacturing equipment experience advantageous.
