**Job Title:** Assistant Finance Manager (Fund Accounting)
The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Irish Sovereign Funds Finance team as an Assistant Finance Manager on a permanent contract.

About Us
The NTMA provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government, managing a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities. The agency has evolved from a single-function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of various businesses, including borrowing for the Exchequer, the State Claims Agency, and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review due diligence on new direct loans and alternative investments, analyzing financial and operational impacts.
* Review partnership agreements, interpret reporting requirements, and analyze partner economics.
* Administer loans, reviewing facility agreements, calculating interest and repayments, and preparing accounting journals.
* Review investee allocations, capital account statements, and capital call and distribution notices.
* Process daily and monthly internal management information reporting.
Requirements
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) required.
* Third-level qualification in Finance or Accounting preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with knowledge of Private Market and Hedge products essential.
* Experience in Portfolio Management System onboarding/transformation projects desirable.
