Responsibilities:
* Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously across key domains including R&D, mechanical, software, hardware, electronics, manufacturing, and NPI.
* Full Product Lifecycle Management: Lead projects from initial concept and design through development, manufacturing, and post-launch phases.
* Process Development: Learn and adapt to existing processes while gradually creating schedules, reports, and KPIs to enhance project tracking and performance. Help establish and structure a PMO tailored to the organization’s needs.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and technical teams to align efforts, ensure deliverables, and resolve project bottlenecks.
* Stakeholder Communication: Regularly present updates, reports, and strategic insights to owners, directors, and the CEO. Address concerns and ensure alignment with company goals.
* Technical Credibility: Build trust with technical teams through a strong understanding of their challenges, providing informed input to keep projects on track.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Technical and Project Management Expertise: Experience managing diverse technical projects involving software, hardware, and manufacturing components. Strong knowledge of the full product lifecycle and familiarity with NPI processes.
* Process-Driven Leadership: Skilled in creating and implementing schedules, KPIs, and structured reporting frameworks. Experienced in building tailored PMO processes without imposing rigid, external methodologies.
* Strong Communicator: Comfortable presenting updates to C-level executives, translating technical details into strategic insights. Builds strong working relationships with cross-functional teams through effective communication and collaboration.
* Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Willing to immerse in existing processes to understand the business from the ground up. Proactively identifies challenges and implements practical solutions.
