Job Role
This role assesses and supports families and individuals during their pathway through homelessness to settlement on a 2-year fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Work within the framework of the overall objectives of the organisation.
* Visit families and individuals in emergency accommodation or their own homes.
* Carry out assessments and reviews, develop and implement support plans.
* Work with local services, community groups, and housing providers.
* Maintain accurate records and statistics.
* Participate in service evaluation and development.
Requirements
* A relevant third-level qualification (social care, psychology, sociology).
* Extensive experience working in social care settings.
* Experience dealing with child protection and welfare responsibilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and willingness to develop professional skills.
Desirable Skills
* Full clean driver's license.
* Advocacy experience for similar client groups.
* Report writing skills.
* Information Technology skills.
