Vickerstock are working in partnership with a national residential construction firm on the appointment of a Senior Health & Safety Manager.
You will be responsible for the implementation of the company's safety management system, contribute to successful project delivery, and enhance the safety culture of the organisation.

Starting salary up to €90k - dependant on experience Company vehicle Bonus potential Full private healthcare cover Annual salary review Continuous professional development programme & funding Life assurance Income protection Employee assistance programme Tax saver - travel and bike to work Pension scheme with matching contributions In your new role: Support in driving a culture of best practice and continuous improvement in safety management and behaviour across company sites Provide guidance and leadership to the management and engage with all staff across the organisation on safety systems and initiatives matters Development and implementation of Health and Safety strategies that align with company goals and strategies Ongoing development and support of the safety strategy, safety management systems and associated processes Manage the delivery of specific programmes, projects and initiatives Support the development of the EHS team, focusing on professional growth and technical competence Drive improvement initiatives on company sites and with supply chain partners Engage with relevant external bodies, stakeholders and peers to ensure that there is a focus on continuous improvement and innovation Oversight and governance of annual audit programme Leverage EHS systems and data to enhance oversight of safety metrics and reporting Ownership of key reporting requirements to multiple stakeholders including our Leadership Team and Board Monitor and share guidance on Health and Safety related legislation, policy and industry best practice and trends, advising on potential risks associated with emerging legislation and recommend solutions What you will need to succeed: Minimum 7 years' experience in a Senior Safety Management or equivalent role Bachelor's Degree or Diploma Experience of working in Construction, Utilities or similar industry Detailed knowledge of safety management systems to ISO incl.

Experience of implementation of safety programmes across multiple sites and stakeholders Experience of behavioural safety and change programmes Strong knowledge of safety reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders Experience leading and delivering strategic change programmes Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Ability to work as an independent self-starter and manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects Ability to work effectively with colleagues from all levels of the organisation, including senior leaders, project/site managers and supply chain Demonstrated success in driving solutions involving multiple stakeholders and layers of management, and multiple simultaneous deliverables Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
