About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Client Asset Oversight team in Risk as an Associate. The team are responsible for the oversight of key client asset activity within the Firm responsibilities include, ensuring statutory requirements are met in relation the Client Asset Regulations, that there is clear oversight of operational activity related to client assets including reconciliations, reporting and calculations.
In the role, the successful candidate will:
* Monitoring the accuracy of client asset recs and calculations.
* Completing deep dive thematic client asset assurance reviews.
* Assisting in the provision of training to Davy employees in relation to client asset regulations.
* Assisting in the management of client asset examination performed by our external auditors.
* Maintaining client asset dashboards and reporting same to team and Executive Risk Management Committee
* Ensuring all statutory reviews are completed.
* Assisting in the delivery of regulatory returns
* Implementing process improvements related to client asset oversight activity
* Taking active role in client asset related matters and projects
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
* 3rd level Degree or relevant work experience in the financial industry;
* Logical and solution driven;
* Good communication and interpersonal skills;
* Accuracy and attention to detail;
* Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines;
* Proven team player with a flexible attitude towards work.
* Willingness to take initiative and participate in projects
