Techforce Talent is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical support to 250 users across various systems, ensuring the seamless operation of IT services. This position is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support for systems including Microsoft 365, WAN/LAN networks, Firewalls, VMWare, Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and business applications.
* Ensure IT security best practices are implemented and maintained across the network.
* Maintain and support local and wide-area networks.
* Assist in updating and testing the Business Continuity Plan.
* Provide out-of-hours support and travel between locations as needed.
* Follow procurement processes for purchasing hardware and software.
* Research and implement software/hardware solutions as required.
Skills and Experience:
* IT Degree or equivalent qualification.
* 1-2 years of experience as a computer technician or in a similar role.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks and IT components.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
