Job Summary
This is an entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity to work in cutting-edge data centers and be part of the Amazon Web Services team. As a Data Center Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the operations of our data centers, including hardware support, Linux support, network devices system technical support, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Hardware Support: Diagnose and replace hardware issues on x86 architecture servers and network devices.
* Linux Support: Perform log diagnosis, firmware upgrades, and other Linux-related tasks.
* Network Devices System Technical Support: Install, configure, and upgrade network devices.
* Network Link Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network link issues.
* Global Team Cooperation: Communicate and cooperate with the global team to complete various types of team cooperation work.
* Development Projects: Develop scripts or applications using Python, Java, Ruby, and other programming languages as needed.
* AWS Products: Build automatic support systems using AWS products such as lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, dynamodb, etc.
* Technical Documentation: Create technical documents on hardware and system architecture and discuss them with the global service team.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Communication, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information, Cloud Computing, or IT-related fields.
* Basic writing and communication skills in English.
* Currently enrolled undergraduate or master students graduating in 2026 or later.
* At least three months of internship experience.
* Eager to learn and able to think and solve problems independently.
* Proactive and responsible working attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant educational qualification majoring in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
* IT Hardware Concepts.
* Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms.
* x86 Architecture.
* Experience in Microsoft office applications including Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
* Good English written and read skills.
