Your team
The EMEA Controls Assurance team is responsible for oversight of Front Office Control Management and Risk mitigation processes within Invesco's EMEA based investment centres. We provide Investment Teams with insightful analysis on their business risk profile and control effectiveness to support their decision-making capabilities. We are a key partner to the Investment Teams to enable them to adhere to their regulatory and organisational requirements.
Your role
We're searching for an Analyst for our team in Dublin. You will be involved in delivering Controls Assurance process to all EMEA Investment Teams. You will be responsible for ensuring risk exposure is accurately assessed and the controls to mitigate these risks are effectively designed and operating efficiently. This is a key requirement to ensure the Front Office business has implemented effective risk management processes and is adhering to all necessary regulatory and organisational obligations.
You will also be involved in:
1. Working within the Controls Assurance Team to understand and assess the inherent risks faced as a business and the control processes in place to manage these risks.
2. Undertake detailed analysis of business processes and interrogation of the underlying trading and investment data to understand the control operation and efficiency.
3. Provide data for reporting into the Investment Business detailing any observations made through the review of control processes. Utilise data analysis to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of controls.
4. Provide information into the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process by informing management of the completeness of the control environment. Assist with the update and maintenance of the RCSAs.
Sounds interesting?
We are looking for individuals with excellent digital literacy, preferably coding skills (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL), and a good understanding of the investment environment. The ability to understand processes and manipulate data is key.
You will be able to demonstrate how you optimally operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, how you can empower yourself, manage your time effectively, and work under pressure. You will need to be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
