The Role:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Environmental Consultant to join our client's team in Ireland. This position offers a hybrid working model, based in Meath or Galway, providing the opportunity to work on diverse projects in the areas of EPA licensing, compliance auditing, and environmental management. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to develop their skills, contribute to sustainable practices, and gain hands-on experience in environmental consultancy.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about environmental sustainability and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. They will work under the guidance of senior consultants, gaining exposure to environmental compliance, EPA licensing, and best practices in environmental management.
Competencies:
1. A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.
2. Experience working in the Irish environmental and planning legislative contexts with EPA.
3. Licencing and report writing / review.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. 2+ years’ relevant experience preferred.
6. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
7. Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
8. Be self-motivated and solution driven.
9. A full clean driving licence.
