Pharmacy Retail Buyer - Limerick The ideal candidate should have: 3+ years of retail and purchasing experience.
Premium Brand cosmetic, sales or management experience FMCG, cosmetics, or pharmacy experience is an advantage.
EPOS experience, Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills.
Ability to understand and utilise financial data and KPIs.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize their workload.
Strong communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
Ability to generate ideas and market the same.
Energetic, enthusiastic and not afraid of hard work.
Main role responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the store managers of the pharmacies with their day-to-day Operations.
Managing purchase orders and stock control for the premium fragrance and cosmetic houses.
Review stock levels weekly to formulate orders for suppliers or to arrange transfers between branches, as appropriate.
Management of stockholdings, including overstock, out-of-stock and seasonal variations, with consideration given to minimisation of working capital investment, individual store needs and slow-moving stock across the group for sundry toiletries.
Maximise margin while maintaining competitiveness.
Ongoing maintenance of the EPOS stock file, including setting up products, suppliers, cost price, selling price, and margin (shared duty).
Generation and issuing of reports to management, including; sales reports, margin reports, month-end reports, stock holding and ad-hoc reports.
Coordinate with suppliers to organise promotional activity, including in-store promotions and Customer Days.
Source and coordinate special offers and stock for monthly promotional activity.
Coordinate relevant monthly promotional material and communication of in-store promotions to ensure continuity across the group (shared duty).
Coordinate with our online Social Media activity and relevant website updates (shared duty).
Agree and review Cosmetic Sales targets per store/clerk.
Develop close relationships with Suppliers and internal stakeholders such as Management & Finance teams.
Effectively communicate with store managers and staff members.
