Service Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage service installations for high-density residential and commercial projects based in Dublin.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage service installations according to client specifications and company procedures.
* Effectively manage services contractors and sub-contractors.
* Analyse data to identify critical sequences and quantify resources required.
* Review and report on specifications and design drawings.
* Develop design proposals at various stages as needed.
* Plan and manage design team drawings and other documentation.
* Facilitate information flow between design teams and services subcontractors.
* Attend client meetings and provide progress updates.
* Organise and chair coordination meetings for services subcontractors.
* Plan work and organise site facilities to meet project deadlines.
* Review subcontractor submittals and track these as required.
* Inspect, assess, and verify commissioning of MEP systems on site.
* Coordinate timely submittal of safety file data for the client on project completion.
Requirements:
* Relevant engineering degree or diploma.
* 4+ years' experience in a similar role with a main contractor, building services contractor, or consultants' offices.
* Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler & process systems / construction.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written/oral communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and respond promptly to situations.
* Proven track record in commercial/residential projects.
* Willingness to contribute to quality and safety requirements.
* Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIBSE) is beneficial.
