The Role
Behavioural Specialist
This role involves conducting functional assessments and developing multi-element behaviour support plans to aid individuals with their behaviour, teach new skills, and enhance overall quality of life.
You will promote positive behaviour support across the organisation by quality checking and improving personal plans.
Responsibilities include:
* Living our mission, vision, and values
* Managing an individual caseload
* Traveling to various locations as required
* Completing functional assessments
* Developing multi-element behaviour support plans (MEBSPs)
* Overseeing MEBSP implementation and monitoring
* Providing training to front-line staff
Qualifications:
* Psiology degree or equivalent
* MSc ABA or equivalent
* BCBA preferred but not essential
Key Skills:
* Strong leadership skills
* Problem-solving skills and judgement
* Critical decision-making and recommendations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team
* Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
