The Group Reservations and Revenue Manager position is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in playing a significant role within Clare Tourism.
This role involves developing and implementing revenue management strategies and processes, as well as contributing to the improvement and development of a reservations system.
The successful applicant will report to the Head of Commercial and Shared Services and work closely with Senior Management to develop a World Class Visitor Experience.
The Group Reservations and Revenue Manager will be responsible for planning, organising and optimising all activities of revenue management for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing a bespoke booking and reservations system
* Supporting and monitoring the reservations departments at Clare Tourism
* Working closely with senior management to develop rate strategies
* Producing month end reports with a strong emphasis on past, current and future performance analysis
* Utilising rate comparison reports to identify and react to pricing opportunities within the business
* Working closely with operational management teams throughout Clare Tourism to manage the trade and booking system
* Establishing and maintaining effective employee relations
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in yield/revenue management/reservations with at least 5 years management experience and a Diploma/Degree in a similar or related discipline.
They will also have good knowledge of e-learning platforms, Health & Safety Systems, and PC based systems and technologies.
Other requirements include flexibility and a strong problem-solving approach, as well as the ability to demonstrate a high level of teamwork and motivation skills.
The position will operate principally at the Shared Services Office located in Ennis and will involve travel to all other tourism sites in the Clare Tourism portfolio.
