New Opportunity for a Collections Team Lead
This role will play a pivotal part in driving our global collections strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership:
o Oversee the performance and development of a team of up to 10 collectors.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring.
o Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
* Process Improvement:
o Analyse and optimise existing collections processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
o Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
* Debt Recovery:
o Prioritise and manage a high volume of overdue accounts.
o Employ effective negotiation and communication skills to resolve disputes and secure payments.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Credit, Cash Applications, Master Data, and Sales Team to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
* Reporting:
o Prepare detailed reports on collections activities, aged debt, and SOX compliance.
o Analyse data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus.
* Fluency in English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
* A passion for driving results and exceeding expectations.
