Job Description
The role involves supporting and assisting with tax advice and compliance across Europe entities. Our client is a multinational FMCG company based in an organisation with a solid reputation for delivering high-quality products and commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead in providing accurate tax advice to internal partners (e.g., Finance, Legal, HR, Treasury etc) in an efficient and timely manner.
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead in reviewing revenue streams and other matters to ensure tax compliance throughout the Group.
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead and external advisor in updating Transfer pricing documents, CBC (Country by Country) and CFC reporting.
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead with completing the yearly tax budget and monthly forecasting.
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead in completing and submitting corporation tax computations and other tax returns in line with internal and statutory deadlines.
* Assist with preparing tax provision, group relief, and related notes, including audit support, for reporting and annual statutory filings for relevant entities.
* Post related tax journals and prepare tax accounting disclosures in Group and local financial statements.
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead in Withholding tax compliance and reconciliations.
* Support and assist the Tax Team Lead with any VAT related queries to ensure the Group is VAT compliant.
Requirements
* A successful Tax Analyst should have: Relevant qualifications or part qualified in Taxation, Accounting or Finance with experience within a mid-large multi-national organisation, in a GBS/ SSC structure or for an international Tax/Audit firm.
* Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Solid understanding of tax laws and regulations.
* Full fluency in English.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* SAP S/4 HANA is an advantage but not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
