I'm recruiting for experienced sales professionals in the E-Learning space for an E-Learning platform with a footprint throughout the U.S. and Europe that enables the IT, Management, and Leadership skills needed by technology-led and innovation-driven organizations through instructor-led and on-demand training, coaching and consulting.
Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing corporate training package business across the full training catalogue.
1. Build a pipeline through prospecting
2. Close sizable B2B contracts
3. Build long-term corporate relationships
4. Build relationships in existing sectors and build new relationships in these sectors
5. Manage an existing book of business or regional book of business
6. Win new business in assigned new territory
7. Work closely with the delivery team to make sure clients get the highest level of satisfaction
8. Work closely with marketing team to refine offering, positioning, and materials
9. Attend Events, Conferences and seminars representing the company
Qualifications & Experience needed
* 3+ years of B2B sales experience required
* Strong written and verbal communications skills in a senior executive environment required
* Expertise in consultative selling/solutions sales required
* Proven ability to find a way to get a foot in the door to build relationships required
* Proven closing ability required
* Strong negotiation skills required
* Experience in selling into the C-Suite, Project Management Offices, or Learning and Development Department is preferred
* Experience in project management, technology, or operations preferred
* Ability to work in CRM systems required
* Ability to work well in a lean and rapidly changing entrepreneurial organization required
* Ability to move quickly and “get one’s hands dirty” required
* Have an entrepreneurial mindset, curious and persistent, hungry to win business and reach targets
