Area Sales Manager - Security - Access Control - Entrance - Barrier
Our client is a distributor in the entrance automation industry providing a range of hydraulic motors for electronic gates & garage doors, traffic barriers & bollards. Their target market includes specialist gate installers, electrical contractors, security, and fencing companies.
There is a requirement for an Area Sales Manager - Ireland.
The key focus will be to manage and expand the B2B customer base through a hands-on, consultative, value-added approach.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a commercial advisor to new & existing B2B customers.
2. Engage with customers through regular structured account review meetings.
3. Develop business opportunities using both pull and push strategies.
4. Focus on new business opportunities nationwide.
5. Develop multi-level relationships with customers by providing both technical product information as well as tailored commercial quotations.
6. Support customers with technical challenges, both on site and at their premises.
7. Present SWOT sales plans across all regions.
8. Update Salesforce CRM with new customer information.
9. Build product knowledge of company products and competitor activity.
Requirements:
1. Track record in Technical Sales in the construction, security, or electrical sectors, working closely with installation professionals and engagement in commercial specification projects.
2. Self-motivated with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
3. Ability to communicate industry-specific technology, trends, and solutions at all levels.
4. Capable of driving business outcomes through effective persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
5. Extensive experience in fostering relationships with field engineers and executive levels.
6. Technically savvy with advanced IT literacy, coupled with a strong commitment to continuous learning and customer support.
7. Possession of a full clean driving licence.
Remuneration:
A competitive salary range (€60k - €70k DOE), annual bonus, company car, pension, laptop, phone, and expenses.
