Job Description
As a Panel Manager/Coordinator, you will be working onsite at our client’s R&D facility in Cork, Ireland. As the first point of contact for our client’s R&D team, you will be responsible for panel, project, and lab management. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Scheduling of all panels, ensuring a minimum turn-around time of sample results.
* Panel recruitment, training, performance & maintenance.
* Creating project research plans including proposed methodologies.
* Signing off technician’s reports and prepare more complex data set/method reports.
* Collaborating with the client’s sensory team on final interpretation/recommendation/report requirements.
* Coaching & development of panel leaders/technicians, helping them to advance and expand their capabilities.
* Implementing new sensory methods (incl. training for technicians).
* Ensuring that our client’s Quality Management System requirements are adhered to.
* Ensuring that panelists stay motivated through performance feedback.
* Leading initiatives for efficiency and sustainability through participating in the Green Lab Certification process.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Sensory-related study program.
* Deep knowledge of sensory approach and statistics applied to sensory.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Confident communicator in English, both spoken and written.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and sensory software.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional and intercultural environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Open-minded, easy to connect and creative mindset.
* Analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to adapt to changes in real-time and meet timelines.
* Agile mindset and problem-solving attitude.
