Lead Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Safety Adviser and project team to ensure all works comply with statutory safety, health, and environmental regulations.
* Manage Main EPC Mechanical Contract and other Mechanical contracts/work scopes assigned by the Project Manager.
* Liaise with EMP specialist team to deliver overhaul according to defined protocols and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Support implementation of Inspection & Test Plans for Mechanical aspects of the unit.
* Manage quality in accordance with responsibilities listed in the Project Quality Plan.
* Day-to-day supervision and point of contact with contractors and their works.
Working Relationships:
* Station Management and Maintenance Teams.
* Project Manager.
* Contractors and principle Contractor.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
* Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices.
Location: Hydroelectric Power Station in County Donegal.
Remuneration: €600 per day (INSIDE IR35).
Timeframe: 12 months contract.
