We are presently recruiting for a Junior Legal Secretary for our clients in County Kerry. The ideal candidate will support senior legal staff by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient office operations, and maintaining accurate legal documentation. This role is perfect for someone starting their career in the legal field, looking to gain valuable experience and grow within a dynamic environment. This is a permanent, full-time position based in office in County Kerry.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates.
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, letters, and reports.
* Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
* Assist in filing legal documents with courts and government agencies.
* Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
* Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda.
* Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and case updates.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and logistical support for legal staff.
Qualifications & Experiences
* Minimum Leaving Certificate with additional courses completed in legal studies or office administration is preferred.
* Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent typing skills.
* Strong data entry and document management skills.
