The role is very bus and does include Plc reporting deadlines, which can be onerous and will include the odd weekend but that will be more fun than work!
Reporting to MD of Ireland and CFO in the UK Responsibilities Finance the ability to be comfortable in the weeds and pivot to big picture thinking will be essential.
Driving business via KPIs and not be afraid to ask why!
Oversee all financial reporting, manage budgeting cycle & rolling forecast, P&L, working capital and liaise with Auditors.
Stakeholder management - there will be a lot of communication with non-finance stakeholders, liaising with clients and the senior leadership teams both in Ireland and the UK Leadership - finance staff will be based on a number of sites; it will be your responsibility to ensure all reporting & packs are delivered accurately and on time Growth strategy part of this is already in play, which is great, but there will be a need to look at new opportunities, participate in pitching & pricing to ensure targeted growth is achieved Agility this role is busy where no two days are the same, the ability to get up to speed, make informed decisions quickly and change course when necessary, will be required Requirements Qualified accountant, ideally practice trained and both familiar and comfortable with Plc reporting The devil is in the detail particularly in the catering/food & drinks sector.
Prior experience in these sectors or FMCG/Retail would be preferred Commercial acumen prior experience in a commercial role is essential, ideally in the aforementioned sectors Staff management developing & managing a successful team Communication it goes without saying, prior presentation and pitching experience will be needed Remuneration Base c €120,000 plus strong bonus, family health insurance, 27 days annual leave Contact Rachel Tubridy This role will not qualify for sponsorship, all candidates must have the right to work in Ireland on application.
