The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional client results, and scaling paid media operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paid media specialists, ensuring high performance and professional growth.Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing training to upskill the team.Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and hiring to meet departmental and client needs.Act as a strategic partner for tier 1 clients, providing expert guidance on paid media strategies across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Programmatic, etc.).Oversee the development and execution of high-impact paid media campaigns that align with client objectives and deliver measurable ROI.Ensure client retention and satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships, delivering exceptional results, and identifying opportunities for account growth.Present campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.Develop and implement a growth plan for the paid media department, including new service offerings, technology adoption, and process optimization.Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure the agency remains competitive and innovative.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with the sales team to pitch and win new clients.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department, ensuring alignment with agency goals.Performance & ReportingOversee the tracking, measurement, and analysis of campaign performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making.Ensure the team delivers accurate and insightful client reporting, highlighting key metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations.Implement testing frameworks and optimization strategies to improve campaign performance continuously.Collaboration & Cross-Functional LeadershipWork closely with other department heads (e.g., Solutions Design, BI and Technology, and Project Management) to deliver integrated marketing solutions for clients.Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability for the paid media department.Partner with the leadership team to contribute to the agency’s overall strategy and growth initiatives.Qualifications:Experience: 8+ years of experience in paid media, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within a digital marketing agency.Expertise: Deep knowledge of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Programmatic, etc.), tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager), and bid management platforms.Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute paid media strategies that drive measurable results for clients.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.Client Management: Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver strategic insights to senior stakeholders.Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Certifications: Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, and other relevant certifications are highly desirable.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Client retention and satisfaction rates.Revenue growth from existing and new clients.Team performance and employee satisfaction.Campaign performance metrics (e.g., ROI, LTV, CPA, conversion rates).Department profitability and efficiency.This is an exciting time to join a growing consultancy offering;Flexible hoursHybrid working (1 day from Dublin office)25 days of holidays per yearPlease note, this role is only open to people with valid working permit.Seniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesTechnology, Information and Internet
