Equipment Technician
We are recruiting for an Equipment Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Clonmel.
About the Role
This is a day shift position on core hours, with an early Friday finish. As an Equipment Technician, you will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality capital equipment used in hospitals around the world.
Key Responsibilities
* Built and maintain capital equipment products by following all processes and completing other assigned work while meeting production goals and metrics.
* Ensure quality and adherence to manufacturing process requirements, the company Quality Policy, and the Strategic Quality Process (SQP).
* Proactively identify and communicate quality issues and concerns.
* Conduct failure analysis on electronic and production test systems to identify the root cause at the component level.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and improve production test system performance while reducing production fallout.
* Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, and maintain equipment and systems for use in manufacturing.
* Perform set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of equipment, materials, systems, and/or products on the production floor.
* Work with quality, manufacturing engineering, and operations to provide improvement feedback and assist with resolution of quality and manufacturing issues.
Qualifications
A Level 7 technical qualification in electrical or electronic engineering or any related discipline is required.
Additionally, you should possess skills in electrical maintenance, wiring, panel building, repair, troubleshooting, and fault finding.
