Job Description
The role of Service Coordinator involves managing service installations for high-density residential and commercial projects in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage service installations in accordance with client specifications and company procedures.
* Effectively manage services contractors and other related sub-contractors or supply chain partners.
* Analyse data to identify critical sequences and quantify resources required for key management decisions.
* Review and report on specifications, design drawings, and ensure appropriate service/design decisions are met.
* Develop design proposals at sketch, detailed design, and production stages as necessary.
* Plan and manage design team drawings and other documentation of design and installation.
* Programme and facilitate the flow of information between the design team and services subcontractors.
* Attend client meetings and provide updates on progress.
* Organise and chair coordination meetings for services subcontractors.
* Plan work, organise plant, and site facilities to meet project deadlines.
* Review subcontractor submittals on plant proposals and procurement routes, and track these as required.
* Inspect, assess, and verify commissioning of MEP systems on site.
* Coordinate and timely submittal of the safety file data for the client on project completion.
You Will Need:
* A relevant engineering degree or diploma, or a related discipline.
* Preferably 4+ years' experience in a similar role with a main contractor, building services contractor, or consultants' offices.
* Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, and process systems/construction.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrate responsiveness, and contribute to quality and safety requirements.
* A proven track record in commercial/residential projects.
