This role involves:Strategic financial planningOperational managementEnsuring compliance with relevant regulationsThe ideal candidate will contribute to the organisation's mission by optimising resource utilisation and enhancing service delivery to children and families across Ireland.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial ManagementThe Head of Finance & Operations will be responsible for:Financial accounts preparation, including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting, cash flow, risk management, compliance and auditOperational OversightThe Head of Finance & Operations will oversee:EPlus's operational efficiencyTeam LeadershipThe Head of Finance & Operations will lead a direct team of 4 within finance/admin and operational management.Strategic PlanningThe Head of Finance & Operations will contribute to EPlus's strategic plans and help drive the organization forward.RequirementsQualifications and ExperienceThe ideal candidate should possess:Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years PQEExperience in producing SORP compliant accountsExperience and expertise in using Xero (or similar SME accounting package) & advanced Excel in addition to the full Microsoft packageMinimum of 2 years supervisory or people leadership experiencePersonal QualitiesThe ideal candidate should also possess:A meaningful purpose for wanting to work for a charity or non-for-profit organisationProfessional and personal values that align with EPlus's valuesRemuneration PackageThe remuneration package includes:€80,000 per annum25 days annual leave, increasing to 29 days with years of serviceTravel/mileage & subsistence paid at the civil service ratesPaid maternity leavePaid paternity leavePaid sick leaveEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFully remote workingFlexible working hoursSalary: €80,000
