Project Manager - Engineering Consultancy - Sligo

Our Client is one of Ireland's most exciting digital engineering companies to emerge. Based in Sligo, the company carries out an expansive range of services within the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) industry throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
The ideal candidate will come from an engineering or construction background and will have 5+ years of experience working within the Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, and semi-conductor sectors.
The candidate will take responsibility for managing clients' expectations and multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of large-scale engineering and construction projects (client side) across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Liaising with the Geospatial surveying and BIM co-ordination teams on project requirements.
2. Planning weekly/monthly work tasks for project teams.
3. Assisting company directors on planning and costing estimates for projects.
4. Identifying the engineering and surveying needs for construction support throughout the project life cycle.
5. Working with the BIM co-ordination team to ensure site installations correspond to 3D construction models, whilst providing verification reports on such observations.
6. Liaising with the Geospatial surveying teams in utilizing innovative digital technologies such as 3D laser scanning and verification software.
7. Liaising with clients on project requirements and associated deliverables.
8. Utilizing digital platforms, such as BIM 360 & Navisworks, for reviewing and recording quality observations.
9. Employing Contract Management principles, including client relationship management.
Requirements
1. Degree in engineering or construction background.
2. 5+ years experience working on construction and engineering projects in the pharmaceutical, data centre, or semi-conductor sectors.
3. Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
4. Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills.
5. Extensive experience in creating and updating construction programmes (P6, ASTA, MSP).
6. Excellent people and management skills.
7. Clean Drivers License.
8. Work location will be primarily based out of the Sligo office with 1-2 days travel per week to client sites.
