Quantity Surveyor Job Description
At our specialist company, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Dungannon area of Northern Ireland.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of projects across Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing pricing for all upcoming and completed jobs, gathering accurate costings from site staff, sub-contractors, and IT systems, and identifying variants to ensure accurate pricing.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of pricing for all upcoming and completed jobs
* Gathering accurate costings from site staff, sub-contractors, and IT systems
* Identifying variants and ensuring pricing is accurate and explainable
* Reporting on completed works on a weekly and monthly basis
* Analysing progress and financials, including risks or concerns on a regular basis
* Liaising between site staff, project managers, senior management, and clients
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying gained in Construction, Utilities, Civils, M&E etc.
* Strong financial reporting experience and excellent documentation management
* A relevant 3rd-level construction qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related constructions degree
* Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
* Strong presentation, reporting, and some previous people management skills
Benefits:
* Salary: £45,000 - £64,000 depending on experience
