In this role you will:Work alongside the DoS and fellow ASMs to support the teaching team and the overall running of the school.Deliver well-planned, engaging, and successful lessons in line with Kaplan’s Global Curriculum and KIL Teaching Standards (up to 21 hours per week).Assist with academic administration: Attendance, Records of Work, Testing, Student Progress Reports, and any other administrative processes that support the smooth running of the academic department. Contribute to the development of teaching materials.Lead and participate in the CPD programme.Undertake other duties as deemed necessary by line manager. What you’ll bring to the role Bachelor’s degree.TEFLI Status - For example via a CELTA/Cert TESOL or equivalent .Experience in administration work (preferably in an ELT environment).Experience in developing learner autonomy.Experience in effective student counselling and tutorials.Experience in teaching a variety of levels. Experience in teaching exam preparation and/or business classes. Experience in using IWBs in the classroom. Experience in working in a customer-facing environment.
