Job Summary
DPG Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test Lead to join our team in Littleton, CO. This role is responsible for leading both the Test Team and the Systems Engineering (SE) Team to ensure seamless integration, rigorous testing, and overall system reliability. Key Responsibilities
* Leadership :
o Lead and mentor the Test Team and Systems Engineering (SE) Team.
o Develop team capabilities, set priorities, and ensure accountability.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
* Test Strategy & Execution :
o Design and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and procedures for the Canyon project.
o Oversee execution of unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
o Ensure rigorous defect identification, logging, and resolution.
* Systems Integration :
o Coordinate end-to-end integration of system components to ensure seamless functionality.
o Identify and resolve integration issues in collaboration with development and engineering teams.
* Quality Assurance & High Level Attention to Detail :
o Maintain an obsessive focus on quality, consistency, and accuracy.
o Identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and areas for process improvement.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and project requirements.
* Documentation & Reporting :
o Develop and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, and results.
o Generate regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
* Collaboration & Communication :
o Act as a liaison between the Test, SE, and Development teams.
o Communicate test outcomes and risks effectively to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
* Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience :
o 5+ years in testing, integration, and systems engineering.
o 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
* Skills :
o Strong understanding of various testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, and UAT).
o Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, or similar).
o Familiarity with systems integration processes and tools.
o Exceptional attention to detail and an organized, methodical approach to work.
