Assistant Director of Nursing
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to join our team at the Nursing Home. * Assist with hiring, training, and monitoring nurses.
* Manage clinical operations and develop care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
* Prepare daily schedules and plan shifts to ensure efficient use of resources.
* Evaluate and improve departmental procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular patient rounds and address any complaints or concerns promptly.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* At least 3 years' experience of nursing older persons in the last 6 years.
* A minimum of 7 years post-registration experience.
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and inspection activity as they pertain to residential care centres.
* A third-level qualification in management.
