Senior Financial Accountant

The flagship store is complemented by locations in Dublin and a presence in select stockists across Ireland and the UK. We are now looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Financial Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller, to focus on Retail and E-commerce financial operations based in Ireland, alongside assisting in other areas of the business.
* Preparation of monthly reporting and reconciliation information within defined timelines including bank, intercompany and sales reconciliations.
* Preparation and communication of quarterly management accounts, annual budgets and financial forecasts.
* Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stocktakes.
* Management of weekly payroll information.
* Assisting in costing and strategic projects.
* Maintaining and updating the internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting process.
* Year-end financial reporting and liaison with external audit.
* Various projects on an ad hoc basis.
* Qualified ACA/ACCA with 3+ years post qualified experience in industry in Ireland/UK.
* Experience in accounts reconciliation and preparation.
* The ability to meet deadlines and to present accounts information clearly.
* Strong IT and Advanced Excel skills and experience in using different IT systems.
* Experience of supervising a small team and managing payroll.
* Experience in retail sector would be preferable.
* Excellent attention to detail, verbal and communication skills.
This is a full-time position based in South Donegal so the successful candidate must live within an easily commutable distance.
