Front Office Manager (Pre-Opening) at Moxy Dublin Docklands
We are currently recruiting a passionate & customer focused Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office crew at this brand new 183-bedroom Moxy by Marriott.
As we prepare for the grand opening of this vibrant new hotel, we are seeking the right candidate to lead and support a dedicated crew in ensuring that every guest has a fun & memorable experience during their stay.
The Front Office Manager will play a key role in the set-up of the front office department prior to the opening of the hotel including the recruitment, selection & training of the crew.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership for the recruitment and training of pre-opening Front Office crew.
2. Ensure that all pre-opening systems training is completed by the Front Office crew.
3. Ensure that all brand related training is completed by the Front Office crew including Bonvoy Loyalty training.
4. Take ownership of all Front Office related pre-opening critical path tasks.
5. Oversee and manage Front Office operations, ensuring a welcoming, fun and efficient service to all guests.
6. Promote a culture of service excellence where the guest is Number One.
7. Ensure that all Marriott Bonvoy members are recognized on arrival & receive entitlements according to their tier.
8. Develop, implement, and provide training on SOPs and Marriott brand standards.
9. Ensure that Moxy brand standards are adhered to at all times.
10. Ensure smooth arrival and departure procedures to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
11. Work closely with the Reservations Manager in overseeing room allocations.
12. Assist in managing room inventory alongside the Reservations Department to maximise occupancy and revenue.
13. Assist in the compilation of the annual rooms budget for the hotel.
14. To be aware of relevant competitor information & market changes in order to amend our rates as appropriate.
15. To ensure all front office staff are familiar with safe keeping, cash handling, credit policy of the hotel.
16. To ensure that all billing procedures are adhered to & that all cashiers are balanced at the end of each shift.
17. Promote the hotel, its offerings and local activities to guests.
The ideal candidate:
1. Minimum of two years' experience in a senior Front Office role.
2. Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service in a fun environment.
3. Strong knowledge of Front Office systems, preferably Opera, is required.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a relaxed team environment.
5. Ability to work to deadlines, be proactive and work a flexible schedule as and when required.
6. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
