Warehouse Operative Role
A highly regarded and award-winning company in South Dublin is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join its team. This organisation has national recognition with multiple locations across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the forklift efficiently and safely to complete tasks such as picking.
* Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
* Unload goods from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage.
* Conduct inspections of incoming stock while checking for defects.
* Receive products that include physical unloading and put away to a location.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, particularly related to forklift operations.
* Perform general tasks and duties as assigned by management, including general warehouse duties.
* Operate manual handling equipment in line with the company's Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements:
* Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
* Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean warehouse.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within the construction and logistics industries.
* Valid Forklift Certificate.
* Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
