* Good plant knowledge so as to be familiar with the best ways to seasonally manage trees and shrubs on sites.

* Possess strong leadership skills in order to demonstrate the ways of working that is expected from crews.
* Ability to work on own initiative and create new and improved ways of working.
Key Duties
* Manage a high volume of tree works projects.
* Review successful contract awards, organise and schedule works including supervision and verifying completion of works.
* Co-ordinate on specific works to other Contracts Managers where relevant.
* Be responsible for documents relating to contracted works including correspondences for work confirmations in the appropriate maintenance of client files.
Additional Responsibilities
* Liaise with the Human Resources Department in relation to conducting investigations for any Human Resources issues.
* Analyse timesheets to ensure hours calculated are correct before being approved by the Operational Managers.
* Assist employees in relation to any payroll administration.
* Procurement and purchase or rental of materials, subcontractors, plant and machinery.
