Job Summary
The Materials Management Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day operations to ensure manufacturing materials are available as requested. The role aims to consistently achieve high standards of cost and quality compliance while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct business in an ethically sound manner that protects human health, safety, and the environment by complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Process daily purchase orders and follow them through from PO to delivery stage to corresponding invoice through the SAP system.
* Manage inventory using onsite inventory management systems.
* Work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and implement sustainable sourcing practices to minimize environmental impact.
* Measure supplier performance in line with Longford Key Supplier Metrics.
* Implement lean supply chain practices to reduce costs and improve service levels.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
