Scheduling Lead - Dublin, Ireland - Turner & Townsend
Scheduling Lead required to lead the scheduling and resourcing team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include leading the development and management of the overall schedule management plan, providing leadership in scheduling and resourcing, and identifying and defining an appropriate software for scheduling and resourcing. Other responsibilities include developing and managing the baseline master programme, sharing the schedule management plan with the scheduling team, and leading the development of the tender requirements and contractual requirements. The successful candidate will have 15+ years' experience in schedule management, with at least 5+ years' experience within metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity. Requirements include expertise in scheduling systems administrative functions, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience in performing monitoring, reviewing, planning, and scheduling functions. The role also involves working with design and construction contractor(s) and carrying out associated supplier/contractor schedule reviews/acceptance and implementing impact assessment protocols.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and management of the overall schedule management plan.
* Provide leadership in scheduling and resourcing throughout the delivery of the project.
* Identify and define an appropriate software for scheduling and resourcing.
* Develop and manage the baseline master programme.
* Share the schedule management plan with the scheduling team.
* Lead the development of the tender requirements and contractual requirements.
* Develop and manage the integrated work breakdown structure for the project.
* Oversee the approach for programme delay analysis.
* Support during the tender evaluation phase of the procurement process.
* Manage the overall project schedule management plan.
* Manage and update the baseline Master Programme.
* Coordinate all updates from the Project Delivery Partner into the overall schedule management plan.
* Coordinate and lead a scheduling forum with all relevant parties.
* Monitor progress on key delivery milestones and report on compliance.
* Monitor the Project Delivery Partner's management of the contractor's construction schedules.
* Lead programme discussions with partner operator in relation to scheduling and progress.
* Capture all necessary requirements within the master programme.
* Check requirements against NEC 4 contract terms and conditions.
* Oversee and coordinate the project programme delay analysis.
* Ensure handover of all scheduling and resourcing management systems and processes and information to the entity.
* Effectively lead a team of schedulers to review internal schedules, review contractor's schedules, and report on any time impacts, scope change impacts, or delay.
* Requirements:
* 15+ years' experience in schedule management with at least 5+ years' experience within metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.
* Expertise in scheduling systems administrative functions, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience in performing monitoring, reviewing, planning, and scheduling functions.
* Working with design and construction contractor(s) and carrying out associated supplier/contractor schedule reviews/acceptance and implementing impact assessment protocols.
* Building critical path schedules from knowledge and first principles.
