Job Description:
The Role:
1. Work closely with the hotel's management team on the day-to-day running of this busy property.
2. Manage all aspects of the hotel while on duty.
3. Lead a team of up to 40 people on busy shifts.
4. Take a hands-on approach where support is needed.
5. Collaborate with teams within the food & beverage departments of the hotel.
6. Conduct weekly stocktakes.
7. Provide staff training and development.
8. Drive sales initiatives for the property in conjunction with the hotel's in-house sales team.
9. Cover duty management shifts within the hotel property.
10. Ensure excellent service is provided to all guests/visitors to the property.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Must have previous experience in a similar role within busy 3*/4* hotels – minimum 2-3 years' experience.
2. Must have a strong knowledge of the food & beverage industry and new initiatives/innovations taking place within the industry.
3. Must be HACCP trained.
4. Must be able to multi-task and willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
5. Previous experience working with hotel front office systems is beneficial.
