Calibration Engineer
The Calibration Engineer is responsible for actively participating in the Tier process to manage calibrations and proactively resolve calibration issues before they impact business priorities.
Primary activities/responsibilities:
1. Lead and provide ongoing support to the site calibration team in resolving operational issues.
2. Be an active participant within the Engineering team sharing calibration best practices.
3. System owner for calibration systems CCMS Procal, including approving calibrations conducted and maintaining compliance within the system.
4. Participate within the global calibration alliance team ensuring the Brinny site stays up to date with CCMS changes and calibration best practices.
5. Conduct site quality investigations due to calibration deviations, assigning and closing actions within the quality systems.
6. Collaborate with project teams to define calibration specifications for new calibration loops and instruments on the site CCMS.
7. Ensure the supply of high-quality products through equipment availability, maximize performance of calibration equipment, and identify/implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
8. Ensure the highest quality and compliance standards.
9. Attend daily Tier meetings and follow-up.
10. Coordinate site calibration resources, including work planning and scheduling of activities, training, upskilling, and coaching.
11. Complete weekly reviews of site calibration performance within site CCMS and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
12. Coordinate and implement the equipment reliability and performance program.
13. Represent calibration during both internal and external audit inspections.
